"Debt Consolidation" Scams!

Law Shield of Wisconsin, LLC, was created to personally serve the people of Wisconsin. There are no “800” numbers, just our 414 area code. Call us and you talk to a live person. Our lawyers don’t record taped messages; they speak to you. We don’t have “mini-consultations”; we meet with you. We tailor our fees and payments plans to your income and ability to pay. We are a full service law firm, ready to assist you with your legal problems. While we have a practice emphasis in debt relief and criminal law, we help people with all sorts of legal issues. Many times, if we can’t help you, we can refer you to someone who can. That may mean we don't get your business, but we'll get your trust.
In tough economic times, some employers will cheat you out of the wages you deserve. Don't let them!
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") employers are required to pay all non-exempt employees overtime if they work more than 40 hours in a week. Many employers pay their employees a salary instead of a hourly wage, and then don't pay the employee overtime. Just because you are paid a salary does not mean you are exempt from overtime! To avoid the overtime provisions of the FLSA, an employee must be salaried and in an "exempt" position of employment. Some employers will have an employee record overtime time hours on "next week's timecard" to avoid paying overtime. Other employer's won't pay if you have to take work home at night, or will allow you to come in, or stay late, on your own time, to catch-up. These practices nearly always violate the FLSA and are used by employers to cheat employees out of their proper wages. If you're being cheated out of what you should be paid, contact us today.
Injured in an Automobile Accicent?
At Law Shield of Wisconsin, LLC, our lawyers can help you get the compensation you deserve for the costs incurred due to an automobile accident, including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
We offer a free initial consultation, so you can determine if you have grounds for making a claim. We work on a contingency fee basis, which means that you don’t pay us until you receive compensation.
Some of the claims that you may be able to make include:
• Injuries from uninsured drivers
• Lost wages
• Medical expenses
Whatever type of injury you may have sustained from a car accident that was not your fault, and however small or insignificant it seems to you, you should always seek medical and legal assistance as soon as possible following the accident. Many injuries are not apparent at the time of the accident because in the excitement of the moment the injury is not readily apparent. Knee, back, and neck injuries commonly are not noticed until a day or two after the accident. Delay in getting a diagnosis or treatment could jeopardize you ability to make a successful claim.
Other types of accidents that you may have been involved in and are entitled to compensation for include slip and fall accidents and injuries from defective products. To set up a free consultation, contact us today. Whether you are hired, fired, promoted, transferred, disciplined, or denied a raise should have nothing to do with skin color, race, religion or gender.
